  1.   Word Fugue License Agreement

  3.        (1) Copyright: The Word Fugue program and all other programs
  4.        and documentation distributed or shipped with it are Copyright
  5.        to Fugue Software, 1988, 1994, and are protected by Australian
  6.        and international copyright law. In the rest of this document,
  7.        this collection of programs is referred to simply as "Word
  8.        Fugue". You are granted a license to use your copy of Word
  9.        Fugue only under the terms and conditions specified in this
  10.        license agreement.

  12.        (2) Use of One Copy on Two Computers: If you have a copy of
  13.        Word Fugue which is licensed for use on a single computer, you
  14.        may install it on two computers used at two different locations
  15.        (for example, at work and at home), provided there is no
  16.        possibility that the two computers will be in use at the same
  17.        time, and provided that you yourself have purchased Word Fugue,
  18.        or if Word Fugue was purchased by your employer, that you have
  19.        your employer's explicit permission to install Word Fugue on
  20.        two systems as described in this paragraph. The right to
  21.        install one copy of Word Fugue on two computers is limited to
  22.        copies originally licensed for use on a single computer, and
  23.        may not be used to expand the number of systems covered under a
  24.        multi-system license.

  26.        (3) Use of Word Fugue on Networks or Multiple Systems: You may
  27.        install your registered copy of Word Fugue on a computer
  28.        attached to a network, or remove it from one computer and
  29.        install it on a different one, provided there is no possibility
  30.        that your copy will be used by more users than it is licensed
  31.        for. A "user" is defined as one keyboard which is connected to
  32.        a computer on which Word Fugue is installed, regardless of
  33.        whether or not the user of the keyboard is aware of the
  34.        installation or use of Word Fugue in the system.

  36.        (4) Making Copies: You may copy any version of Word Fugue for
  37.        normal backup purposes, and you may give copies of the
  38.        shareware version to other individuals, which they may also use
  39.        and copy subject to the terms of this agreement. If you copy
  40.        the shareware version of Word Fugue for others, you must
  41.        include all of the files distributed with it, including this
  42.        one. You may not give copies of the registered version to any
  43.        other person for any purpose, and you may not make any copies
  44.        of the printed and bound Word Fugue manual without explicit
  45.        written permission from Fugue Software.

  47.        (5) Distribution Restrictions: ASP Vendors may distribute Word
  48.        Fugue as part of their shareware offerings provided they abide
  49.        by the ASP regulations and guidelines. Non ASP vendors may
  50.        distribute Word Fugue shareware version provided they
  51.        distribute the entire Word Fugue package. They may add files to
  52.        it, but under no circumstances may they remove files. They must
  53.        also inform buyers of their obligation to register the program
  54.        if they continue to use it after a reasonable evaluation
  55.        period. NON ASP vendors must also not charge more than a
  56.        reasonable copying fee for the disks (around $US3 per 360k
  57.        disk, and no more than $US8 for 1.4M disks). Individual copies
  58.        of the shareware version may be passed to friends and
  59.        associates for their individual use provided the entire package
  60.        is passed on, and the recipient is made aware of their
  61.        obligation to register. This same applies to hardware vendors
  62.        who bundle shareware with their systems. Specifically, Word
  63.        Fugue is NOT free or Public Domain, and you may not represent
  64.        it as such. You may not sell the registered version without
  65.        express written permission from Fugue Software.

  67.        (6) Use of Word Fugue: Word Fugue is a powerful program. While
  68.        we have attempted to build in reasonable safeguards, if you do
  69.        not use Word Fugue properly you may destroy files or cause
  70.        other damage to your computer software and data. You assume
  71.        full responsibility for the selection and use of Word Fugue to
  72.        achieve your intended results. As stated below, Fugue Software
  73.        limits its warranty to replacement of a defective program
  74.        diskette or manual.
